Winners of Best Student Paper Awards
The Best Student Competition was held on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Six students
presented their papers.
The First Prize went to Mengqi Li for presentation of paper entitled "Effect of Hydrides on Low-cycle Fatigue Crack Initiation in Ti-2Al-2.5Zr Titanium Alloy:
Experimental and Crystal Plasticity Methods"
The Second Prize went to Gordana
Marković for presentation of paper entitled "Influence of Manganese Content on the Plastic Deformation Mechanisms of Polycrystalline β-TiMn Alloys"
whereas the contributions of Shilin Xu, Qian Chen, Nai-Jian Dong and
Nemanja Ilić were also recognized during the Conference dinner.
Winner of Best Poster Award
The Best Poster Award went to Nikola Božović, Marija Božović, Mladen Ćosić and Stevan
Ćorluka for “Verification of results of pile integrity test”.
Awards of Merit
Two Awards
of Merit go to for Dr. Branislav Djordjevic and Prof. Jian-Feng Wen.
Nikola Tesla Medal
..for the innovative approach in solving fracture mechanics problems goes to Prof. Zhiliang Zhang.
